Fondée à Berlin en 2013, Fresh White est une entreprise de peinture visant à repeindre le Hollywood Sign en blanc. Pour HOW AN ARISTOCRACY MAY BE CREATED BY MANUFACTURES, Fresh White présente en parallèle trois types de travaux:
Fresh White 1
un rassemblement continue de reproductions photographiques comportant le signe Hollywood comme sujet principal ou comme arrière-plan. Sur chacune de ces acquisitions le signe est repeint en blanc. La collection contient actuellement plus de 200 pièces. Pour HAAMBCBM, Fresh White a sélectionné une carte postale autographiée de Don Bachardy, ainsi qu’un Kodachrome des années 50 imprimé et peint sur le panneau d’affichage.
Fresh White 15
une série d’affiches contenant des notes sur Fresh White créés par l’artiste et écrivain Giulia Liberti. Présenté pour la première fois dans ce format , une édition de 1000 exemplaires de la Note 5 : The Pursuit of Happiness sera présenté et offert au public.
Fresh White 18
une suite de graffitis éponymes et numérotés réalisés au marqueur noir sur des surfaces peintes en blanc. Produit ici directement sur les murs de Rectangle, Fresh White assurent le rafraîchissement de l’espace à la fin de l’exposition, effaçant sa propre pièce.

Founded in Berlin in 2013, Fresh White is a painting company aiming to repaint the Hollywood Sign in white. For HOW AN ARISTOCRACY MAY BE CREATED BY MANUFACTURES, Fresh White presents three parallel types of works:
Fresh White 1
an ongoing gathering of photographic reproductions featuring the Hollywood sign as a main subject or as a background. On each of those acquisition the sign is repainted white. The collection currently holds more than 200 items. For HAAMBCBM, Fresh White selected a postcard signed by Don Bachardy, alongside with a Kodachrome shot from the early 50’s printed and painted on billboard.
Fresh White 15
a series of posters of the Notes on Fresh White created by the artist and writer Giulia Liberti. Presented for the very first time in this format, an edition of 1000 copies of Note 5: The Pursuit of Happiness will be displayed and offered to the public.
Fresh White 18
a succession of documented and undocumented eponym and numbered black marker pen graffitis on white painted surfaces. Produced here directly on the walls of Rectangle, Fresh White assures the refreshing of the space by the end of the show, wiping out its own piece.

Fresh White is een schilderscollectief opgericht in Berlijn in 2013, met als doel het in het wit herschilderen van het Hollywood Sign. Voor HOW AN ARISTOCRACY MAY BE CREATED BY MANUFACTURES, stelt Fresh White drie parallelle type’s werk voor:
Fresh White 1
Een voortdurende bijeenkomst van fotografische reproducties met het Hollywood Sign als belangrijkste onderwerp of als achtergrond.
Op elk van deze werken is het teken in het wit herschilderd. De collectie omvat ondertussen meer dan 200 stuks. Voor HAAMBCBM, selecteerde Fresh White een handgetekende stukken van Don Bachardy, samen met een Kodachrome shot van begin jaren ‘5O geprint en geschilderd op een aanplakbord.
Fresh White 15
Een reeks posters van de Notes on Fresh White gecreëerd door de artiest en schrijfster Giulia Liberti. Note 5 : The Pursuit of Happiness zal in een editie van 1000 stuks, voor de eerste keer in deze vorm, worden voorgesteld aan het grote publiek.
Fresh White 18
Een opeenvolging van gedocumenteerde en ongedocumenteerde eponiemen en genummerde graffiti’s met zwarte stift op wit geschilderde achtergronden. Fresh White zal de ruimte tegen het einde van de show weer herstellen, door het eigen werk, dat rechtstreeks op de muren van Rectangle werd aangebracht, uit te wissen.
